What on earth does that mean?
Like many hobbies and areas of research; genealogy has its own abbreviations, words and phrases that mean nothing to the uninitiated. The following pages contain brief descriptions to help you get started.

How do I help transcribing?
To submit information requires a login and password. Transcribers can upload information themselves, if they wish, and it will automatically be added to the database. Those who wish to submit transcriptions please contact us at ukgenscribe@gmail.com to obtain access to the admin area. Transcriptions must be submitted using specific Excel template formats available online. If you don't see a category listed for the information you'd like to submit, send us a sample and we'll see what we can do.
Why do you have google advertising?
Many people don't like advertising on websites, but the fact remains websites cost money to host and maintain. The google ads are a simple way to help offset that cost.
